The LDI 2026 Production Assistant Internship Program (Please Send Resumes by April 24, 2026)

If you’re looking to break into live events, production, or entertainment technology, the LDI 2026 Production Assistant (PA) Internship Program offers an unmatched opportunity to gain hands-on experience at one of the industry’s most dynamic gatherings.

This immersive program places you right in the heart of the action—working alongside professionals, building real-world skills, and forming connections that can shape your career.

What the Program Includes

Selected interns will receive a comprehensive experience designed to support both learning and professional growth:

  • Hotel accommodations (shared room with another PA intern in Las Vegas)
  • $550 per diem (gift card) for meals outside of provided lunches
  • Daily lunch provided
  • PA Team Dinner (date to be announced)
  • Portfolio review session with industry professionals
  • Access to training and conference sessions
  • Networking opportunities with industry leaders throughout the event
  • Event access, including:
    • LDI Show Floor
    • LDI After Dark
    • Additional networking events
  • Vendor and LDI show T-shirts

This program is designed not just to teach—but to immerse you in the ecosystem of live production.

What You’ll Be Responsible For

While many core expenses are covered, interns should plan for:

  • Flights to and from Las Vegas
  • Airport transfers
  • Meals not covered by per diem or provided lunches

What to Bring

Preparation is key to making the most of this experience. Be sure to pack:

  • Solid, logo-free shirts for set-up days
  • Pants without holes or rips
  • Your cell phone
  • Small hand tools (such as a Leatherman—must be packed in checked luggage)

Travel Schedule

Interns should plan their travel carefully to align with the working schedule:

  • Arrival: Tuesday, December 1, 2026
    • Please arrive as early in the morning as possible (this is a working day)
  • Departure: Wednesday, December 9, 2026
    • Schedule flights for the late afternoon (this is also a working day)

Who Should Apply

The program will select up to 40 interns, and applicants must be 18 years of age or older. This opportunity is ideal for individuals eager to gain real-world experience and explore careers in live production and entertainment.
