On September 18, 2025 we held the third Creator Community in LA (The Ed Asner Family Center), OC (Quail Hill Community Center), Virtual.

Autism In Entertainment (AIE) held the second Creator Community Meeting on Tuesday, June 24 with over 90 people registered.

This hybrid meeting included two in-person groups: one meeting at the Exceptional Minds Campus in Sherman Oaks and the second meeting at the Las Lomas Community Center in Irvine. In addition, over 40 people registered for the ZOOM. Speakers included Alex Astrella (BluStar Productions), Andrew Ainsworth (Exceptional Minds), Mat Brunet (AKA AniMat), Miles Hardy (Producer), Paul Hemstreet (Autism In Entertainment), and Judi Uttal (Autism In Entertainment). In addition, we heard two project pitches: Matthew McKinney (Irvine) and Ikea Wilson (Sherman Oaks). Videos of the meeting will be available soon. Keep an eye on this space.

Autism In Entertainment (AIE) held the first Creator Community Meeting with over 90 people registered.

At the heart of this initiative is the aim to connect creators with production crew, aiding in the recruitment process for all phases of production. Whether you are a writer, director, actor, or any other type of creative professional, the AIE Creator Community offers a unique space for collaboration, networking, and the exchange of knowledge.

This hybrid meeting included an in-person group meeting at the beautiful Quail Hill Community Park Irvine and a Virtual Group meeting over the ZOOM. The event featured lots of interchange as we learned about the Easterseals Disability Film Challenge from Nic Novicki, AIE Video Production Team from Veteran Filmmaker Paul Hemstreet, and Blu Star Productions from founder Alex Astrella.
