The Autism In Entertainment Conference is a one-day, in-person event that will be held in the Los Angeles area, Spring 2024. The conference will help create a bridge to employment for individuals on the autism spectrum disorder (ASD) in entertainment-related fields, including film, theater, television, production, animation, and gaming design and development.
The conference is being organized by the Orange County Asperger’s Support Group (OCASG) and a dedicated workgroup of family members, educators, skilled professionals, and members of the autism community, and volunteers. The conference is being funded by a Department of Development Services (DDS) grant and is targeted at serving numerous Regional Center clients throughout Southern California to improve access to services that increase pathways to employment.
